a little girl's craft nook ... ♥

i spent some time over this past weekend
(with help from my family)
spring cleaning my girls rooms ... never really shared them on this little bloggy blog
so i thought i'd snap a few pics while it was still clean :)
cause heaven knows it won't stay that way for long.
and cause i'm hoping to change the room up a bit in the near future ...

last year for my oldest daughter's birthday, the hubs built her a mini version of my craft table :)
anchored to the wall and with decorative molding

a cupcake stand & mason jars are here
for all the stuff that comes with crafting supplies :)

found a few canisters from the thrift stores... they hold spools of thread and stamps

crochet is fun :)

this cute little printable calendar is from creative mamma

a few totes for storing odds and ends

and boxes or magazine holders in the dollar section at Target
work great for holding all those loose papers!

remember latch hook?
:)

here's a few other shots of her room...

i wrote verses down on parts of her wall
to serve as a reminder and an encouragement

i'm thinking maybe a little paint ... maybe some more horses (she loves 'em)
and a bunch of buntings & garlands ... yes more of those would be good.
much love ♥ thanks for being here today
linking up to some sweet parties...

  15. What an amazing space for your daughter! I love it (and wish my crafting space looked that darling!) What do you think of the Brother sewing machine? I have a soon-to-be 8 year old who loves to craft and would LOVE a sewing machine of her own. I'd like to get her something that is of good quality but not too complicated! Any thoughts? Thanks!

  28. Love your blog! Would you be so kind as to list the verses you used? I want to use the idea of writing them on the wall in my girls room... which the new design when we move is inspired by the garland I won (thanks, LOVE it) and Amy at delightful distractions creations! Beautiful women of Christ you two are ❤

  29. What a precious PRINCESS room your daughter has. But I wouldn't expect anything less from you!! That yellow is so nice and bright. It is kinda sad when they begin to need a rom that shows how they are growing. My baby girl is 22 and is leaving me for the first time in August for Graduate school in Connecticut!! Help Jaime!! LOL She is taking most of her stuff with her. We've never been apart. Thanks for sharing this room it touched my heart. And I LOVE that her Daddy made her a craft table like Mom's!! Planting seeds!! XOXO Love Fran.
