simplify your kitchen ... decorate with sprinkles ♥

happy Wednesday! ♥
just poppin' in real quick with a cute idea while you're organizing your kitchen this week :)
if you're looking for an easy and affordable way to add color to your countertop
think sprinkles :)
where do we usually keep them??
far far away deep down in the pantry ... why?
they'e so cute! why leave them hidden away ....

i found these little jars at Hobby Lobby
at 50% off they were a steal for only .99 cents a piece
gave them a quick wash and gathered up my sprinkle stash

just a little idea to spruce up your kitchen with some pretty colors
and it's functional :)
if you like to bake :)
i do ... do you?

i found this little glass container at a garage sale
corralled all my food coloring bottles into it too
that though, is sitting in my pantry :)

be back soon ♥
happy organizing!
sharing here ♥

  1. What a wonderful idea! My kitchen has red walls with white cabinets, ORB hardware, maple cutting boards, and stainless steel... can you guess what color my sprinkles are? Yep, white, silver, brown (chocolate sprinkles), and aqua. I know the aqua was the "surprise" one... ha ha!

Once my countertops are cleared off... well, you will be seeing sprinkles in jars out on display here!! Thank you for the inspiration! (because I am always forgetting about them and my teenage boys love sprinkles! especially the silver dragees and edible glitter!)

    Have a wonderful day!

  3. Gotta love sprinkles!! I put all of my sprinkles into a "sprinkle bar" that is hung inside one of our cabinets. That way my kids can access them easily whenever they need to pretty up their dessert ...or breakfast!!

  5. Such cute bottles, and the sprinkles look so much cuter in them! Before Christmas I bought a few of those at Hobby Lobby (different sizes) and put little treats in them for presents by the door if someone stopped over :) Happy Thursday! xo Holly

  13. What a great idea! I would have to find a way to keep my kiddos out of them, though. :-) I found you through the LLR linky party. If you have time, I would love for you to check out my blog. (www.justdoityall.com)

  14. For Christmas dinner I bought 6 votive glasses and had a tealight with red & green sprinkles (that were old) in there. I was going to have it running down the table. Yesterday I realized that I forgot them in the cupboard with my china. Since I didn't go on my good china side (the other side has everyday stuff) I totally forgot about them. I put them aside so the sprinkles didn't make a mess. At this point I'm going to throw them out and use the spring time sprinkles for the next time. lol This is a cute decorating/storage idea.
